Hotel Gansevoort - Meatpacking District NYC

It seems kind of odd to want to sleep in a meat packing district. If you are at NYC’s Hotel Gansevoort you are going to be glad you did. Hotel Gansevoort lives up to its slogan of being “…downtown chic infused with uptown luxury.”

The amenities at Hotel Gansevoort are exquisite and the hotel boasts a New York City first – they have a rooftop heated pool. Imagine spending some time in this urban oasis that is open all year round. If a heated pool isn’t enough, the pool also has under water music for pool goer’s enjoyment. Also on the roof top are Gansevoort’s bar aptly called the “Plunge”, here you can enjoy a drink and a snack as the sun sets over the Hudson.

Hotel Gansevoort goes above and beyond to ensure their guests are having the time of their lives. Single rooms, suites as well as penthouses are available for guests. Each room is furnished with comfortable yet modern furniture and plenty of light. Additionally the hotel is more than happy to make special arrangements for its guest, they can arrange anything from a dozen roses waiting for the misses, sports tickets for the gentlemen or a complimentary Nintendo Wii stocked with fun games for the kids.

If for some reason you feel the need to leave your beautiful room, the Provocateur nightclub is part of the hotel. If you feel like joining the night life scene but don’t want to fully immerse yourself you may arrange for you and your guests to be placed into the clubs skybox located 80 feet above the dance floor. If you’re a club hopper the hotel will set you up with their Night Owl package that gains you VIP access to New York’s hottest night life.
