The Ace Hotel - New York City

The Ace Hotel is not a place you’re even allowed to see, unless you’re a paying guest. Two door men guard the door of one of NYC’s trendiest hotel.

The Ace Hotel isn’t for everyone. The style of the hotel can best be described as hanging out in “your cool older brother/ sister’s” room. Each room while comfortable is not exactly luxurious, but rather funky fun. All rooms at the Ace Hotel are minimalistic and simple. For example in one of the rooms is simply known as “Bunk”. As one may imagine this room have two- twin sized bunk beds. The room has a maximum capacity of two people and a mini-bar. The other rooms available at The Ace Hotel are small, medium, large and cheap. The large rooms feature a king size bed, a small sitting area complete with vintage furniture and old fashioned tubs.

Ace Hotel charm lies in its retro feel. All of the rooms feature a small surprise, some rooms have record players and records and others rather than wall papers have chalk boards for you to draw on. Additionally The Ace Hotel features a beautiful bar that became so popular by the locals and over crowded that hotel had to kick them out to maintain the exclusivity of the hotel.

The Ace Hotel is located on 20 West 29th Street in a tiny part of Manhattan called the Nomad district. The Ace Hotel is nearby to all New York City subways and attractions. With its themes of music, art and counter culture The Ace Hotel is truly a gem of New York.
